Chair and Table LoanTerms
Tables and chairs are loaned out on a donation basis with all monies realised being used to support the Village Hall. Donations should be made prior to the equipment loan and borrowers should note the conditions below.
Table and chairs are loaned on a maximum three day cycle (unless due to operating requirements a shorter period is advised).
Failure to return the items by the agreed time/date will incur an additional charge of £5/item per day.
Delivery and return transportation of the items is the borrower’s responsibility.
All items must be returned in a clean serviceable condition otherwise a cleaning fee of £5 per item requiring cleaning will be payable.
Any damage incurred must be remedied at the borrower’s expense. If the item is damaged beyond repair, lost or stolen a like-for-like replacement must be paid for by the borrower, inclusive of any labour and/or delivery costs.
Where items are returned in an unusable condition, for example with wet chair seats or dirty etc. then a charge will be levied to cover any consequential loss resulting from the items not being available, if it results; this will be over and above any cleaning or other costs as previously detailed.
The borrower assumes all responsibility for any claims that might arise from the use of the equipment during the hire period.
At all times the items remain the property of Carlton on Trent Village Hall.
